670 Magas Babes, Batties, Dirty Diamonds, and Lady SUFA came out victorious in Sunday’s quarterfinal games in the women’s division playoffs of the 2025 Budweiser Belau Amateur Softball League at the Dandan ball field.

670 Magas Babes secured a spot in the semifinals after defeating Wettz, 8-4. It was a tightly contested game, with the Babes playing the role of aggressor.

The Babes established control of the tempo from the start, showcasing their defensive strength as they allowed only one hit before collecting three consecutive outs. In the bottom half, Kiana Camacho brought in a run via stolen base for a 1-0 advantage.

The momentum carried into the second inning, as they quickly retired three Wettz batters and then added three more runs in the bottom half with Nish Mario and Tiam Camacho delivering an RBI double and RBI single, respectively, extending the lead to 4-0.

Wettz steadied on defense in the third inning, holding the Babes scoreless, but the Babes answered with one run in the fourth and two more in the fifth to widen the gap to 7-0.

In the top of the sixth, Wettz finally broke through, with Lani Charly and Amalina Evangelista driving in runs with RBI singles before Analyn Olumopar added a 2-RBI single, cutting the deficit to 7-4.

But the rally ended quickly, as the Babes equalized in the bottom half with an RBI single by Cat Dela Cruz, then retired the first three Wettz batters in the seventh to seal the 8-4 victory.

Joining the Babes in the semifinals are the Dirty Diamonds, who defeated Bat & Boujee, 11-8; Lady SUFA, who outscored Bat Pitches, 15-5; and the Batties, who overpowered the 89ers, 17-2.
