The league will have two games scheduled every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The first game will start at 6 pm and the second game will start at 8 pm.
Play offs, if schedule permits will kick off next month starting January 15th, 2011.
The team roster will only be composed of maximum of 12 eligible players. The top 4 in the 40A and 45A divisions in the regular season will make it to the league play offs. The league will follow the single round robin bracket in both the regular season and play offs.
The threatening, harassment, of any officials, board members, officers of the Masters Basketball Federation of the Northern Marianas Islands on and off the court will result to the automatic suspension of the entire team from the league.
A player with possession of the ball will be granted the freedom to ask or call for a time out. ALL players must play in every quarter of the game. Violation of this rule will result to a bench technical foul. If the violation occurs in the last quarter of the game, the opposing team will shoot two free throw shots and obtain ball possession after the free throw shots.
If a player leaves for any reason during the game, that player is ejected from the current game and will not be able to play until the next scheduled game. The coach MUST inform the table officials that the player left.
Only the team captain is allowed to protest and contest and unfair call or complaint of any kind at any time during the game. All players and coaches must be registered as members of the Masters Basketball Federation of the Northern Marianas Islands.
Teams must be seated at their bench before the game and are requested to show up 15 minutes before their scheduled games to avoid any delays or mishaps.
All players must wear the MBFNMI logo located at the top left hand corner of their uniforms at all times. The MBFNMI league has zero tolerance for alcohol use during the league and drug use at all.
