MCS, GES, SIS, WSR beat foes in interscholastic soccer

MOUNT Carmel School Team 2, Garapan Elementary School, Saipan International School and William S. Reyes Elementary School’s Team 1 dominated their respective opponents in the elementary coed games of the NMI Football Association Interscholastic Soccer League at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville on Wednesday.

MCS II vs SVS I

Rockson Cabrera handed MCS an early lead with two consecutive goals in the first four minutes of the game. Scott Muna also fired two goals in a row as MCS routed San Vicente Elementary School Team 1, 8-0.

Jace Pangelinan and Bryan Reyes contributed a goal each to help MCS seal the deal.

Seeing action for SVS were Blake Cruz, Deanna Canete-Ealy, Jeremiah Pangelinan, Tilisa Peteru, Renz Reyes, Alexis Sablan and Luk Lizama.

GES I vs SCS

Jacob Borja delivered three goals as GES Team 1 silenced Saipan Community School, 9-0.

Evan Poole shot two goals while Keanu Pangelinan, Athitaya Sawikan and Peter Okaruru chipped in one goal each. Also seeing action for GES I were Harper Loken, Rheann Macalinao and Bolei Mendez.

The SCS players were Jeordan Buduan, William Otto Dunn, Antonio Heras, Taylor Yejun Kang, Ji Wan Lim, Kana Vanee, Cortland Winkfield and Amethyst Winkfield.

SIS vs BSS II

Saipan International School’s Guy Pudney scored two consecutive goals in the second half of the game to help beat Brilliant Star School, 6-0. Pudney also scored another goal toward the end of the game while teammates Olivia Walsh and Eleanor Anderson added one goal each.

Also seeing action for SIS were Taryn Bertoncini, Kaylen Taflinger and Timothy Watson.

WSR I vs GTC 1

Darshwana Chetri scored a hat trick in the first half and fired her fourth goal right before the half break to help WSR Team 1 dominate Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary School Team 1, 7-0.

WSR’s Reynold Saka delivered two goals and teammate Damien Jon Leon Guerrero added another goal.

Also seeing action for WSR were Ramon Camcho, Zane Fujihara, Hazel Jane Kim, Destiny Palacios, Rex Rivera, Jayboy Taitano and Ayesha Tenorio.

SVS II vs Oleai

With Dominic Canete-Ealy scoring two goals in a row, San Vicente Elementary School Team 2 took the lead in the first half, and defeated Oleai Elementary School, 5-2.

Oleai’s Jerome Quemado scored a goal to cut the lead in the first half, but San Vicente’s Dimitri Katosang, Amica Homilla and Ethan Sablan delivered one goal each to ensure their team’s victory,

Reyong Rasiang chipped in a goal for Oleai in the 25th minute, but it was not enough.

Also seeing action for SVS were Elvin Agulto, Jessa Harris, Aaron Iglecias, Hunnie Norita, Carlos Rivera and Aria Tupas.

For Oleai, the other players were Louis Achas, Akira Aquilesca, Princella Atina, Roque Cruz, Mitchiko Laniyo, Jomel Quemado and Alidrick Rodeo.
