Mobil downs Shirley’s, 90-82 for 3rd win

Mobil, which dominated most of the match, won 90-82 and remained undefeated as Larry Sharry and Bart Demapan earned 18 points apiece.

Shirley’s briefly came alive during the final quarter, shrinking its 24-point deficit after successful three-pointers from JR Barrios and Ehroll Peredo.

Jun Estolas however, held Mobil’s defense and cut Peredo off from the basket five minutes before the final buzzer.

Team Shirley’s enjoyed their brief turnaround after stealing the ball twice from Marvin Rabauliman and claiming a rebound from Sharry’s failed hook shot.

Mobil secured the first half on a 51-30 lead after Demapan and Sharry’s 25-point rally. Estolas returned seven minutes into the third quarter but came up short. His final basket appeared in the fourth quarter, where Estolas totaled 15 points.

Peredo led team Shirley’s with 19 points — all coming from the second half. Barrios scored 17, Kae Bernardo bagged 16, and Sedillo posted 12.

Mobil came on the shorter end of the closing 10 minutes, grabbing only 17 points while allowing 33 from the hosting team. Rabauliman slipped in a layup from across the court and shot both his free throws, capping the game with 17 points.
