Natibu, Saipal strike winning stance in KQD’s 2nd leg

Pitcher, Ned Norita struck out three, gave in 11 hits and allowed six runs.

Bosil and Iguel connected their second run-scoring singles in the second and after enduring a scoreless third inning, both of them drove in runs again with sacrifice bats in the fourth.

Ken Kalen lambasted Pac Chain with a two-run double in the fifth inning and Suel was thrown out of the field after rocketing a homer, which the tournament rules do not count.

Pauline Camacho, Jack Diaz and Mark Flores hit run-scoring singles in an attempt to get even in the second inning which was cut short by Mike Sablan’s fly ball that landed in the hands of Natibu first baser, BJ Sablan.

Evelyn Kani drove in a run with a single in the seventh inning that ensured their 13-6 win.

Lawarence Dikito added a run-scoring single for a three-run fifth inning for Saipal.

XTerminator 15, Kulan Zamu 6

Roy Celis led off a single and Mel Sakisat knocked in a two-run double to set an early advantage and foiled Kulan Zamu’s bid to avenge their first leg loss to the Advance XTerminators.

This round of the King and Queen of the Diamond was moved to last Monday and today due to bad weather over the weekend.

If weather permits, today’s game will be between Natibu and Sokau; Saipal and Advance Xterminators and, Falcons and Kulan Zamu.
