Nationals avoid major downfall in Budweiser league

White Capalad startedHi-5’s winning momentum by bagging 9 points, 3 points of which came from a three pointer shot, the first downtown shot of the game. Capalad later on scored 11 points. Jack Lizama of the Nationals was also credited well for fending off 6 points for his team. The siren sealed off the first quarter with Hi-5 holding a very fragile one point lead over the Nationals.

In the second quarter team Nationals was having a hard time getting their game on as Hi-5’s star player Dave Sablan worked his basketball skills yet again slipping through the National’s center to fend off 8 points widening the shaky one point gap to a secure 6 point lead over the Nationals.

The Nationals finally got their act together in the second half as Pete Iguel bagged 9 points to start their winning momentum whilst teammate Keone Clariton grabbed tighter to the lead by clocking in 6 points of his own. The Nationals proved that they had tricks up their sleeves too as they grabbed the lead from Hi-5 and widened their gap to a speedy 7 points as soon as the siren sealed off the third quarter.

The winning momentum did not end for team Nationals; they started burying team Hi-5 in the last ten minutes of the game. Pete Iguel started the winning momentum and ended the game stealing the win from team Hi-5 to dodge the bullet from a major loss.
