“We’re very pleased and proud to have this section of the TSL Sports Complex renamed after one of our most popular brands. The Gillette brand is a very active supporter of sports events and athletes around the world, and we found this particular brand a perfect fit to this sports complex,” said D&Q Saipan resident manager Max Kretzers in a press release.
The newly named complex has been caught up with some of the most popular sports on island, including basketball, futsal, and badminton — among others.
“We’re very grateful to D&Q for this sponsorship to the facility,” said Saipan Soccer School president Jerry Tan.
“Since this multipurpose section opened we’ve had numerous basketball leagues take advantage of the facility. On most nights there are basketball games, futsal games, and badminton games all within the sports complex. This financial support from D&Q will help to ensure that the facility will keep up its standards of providing a safe and friendly sporting environment for our community.”
The gymnasium officially opened its doors to the public in June 11 earlier this year.
