Palau Major League (PML) Baseball at its finest on a rainy Tuesday night at the Asahi Baseball Field where devoted fans of both teams filled the grandstand cheering to the top of their throat. However, in spite of a gallant challenge it was team Oreor who were able to discipline Airai Baseball Club to win with a final score of 12 – 9 and get a lead, 2 – 1, on the Best – Of – Five playoff series.
On the other hand, team Ngerbeched were able to draw to a close their separate series, 3 – 1, against team Kayangel Oilers when they turned victorious on their fourth game with a score of 9 – 4 and grab first seat for the PML Championship series.
Games continued for Airai and Oreor to battle it out for game four as of presstime in which team Airai trying to stay alive and force a deciding game five.
