Jun Sablan hit an inside the part homerun as NMI team beat Guam, 12-5, during the Babe Ruth’s final four-inning game last Sunday
The NMI young team also won the six-inning Babe Ruth on Saturday against Guam, 12-7.
The young participants in the Babe Ruth competition batted off pitching machine.
In Tee Ball competition where neither winner nor loser are declared, 11 NMI children participated.
“They were doing good,” says coach, Bob Lizama.
In the Little League majors division game for boys 11 to 12 years old, the NMI defeated Guam 9-8 on Saturday, but lost 3-2 during the four-inning final game on Sunday.
The NMI children were accompanied by Eliseo Castro who watched over the kids since they started practicing last month with Ben Mesa and Tom Camacho.
The NMI team left .July 18.
The Tee Ball Players of the CNMI team are Brithney Luzama, AJ Sablan, Jesse Joe Mesa, Keiji Palacios, Jun Atalig, Sheian Lizama, Devin Flores and Eliray Castro.
