NMIVA hosts teacher’s training course

The course is designed to motivate physical education teachers in teaching volleyball, or to improve their methods in teaching the sport.

The NMIVA recently launched a web page explaining the course’s basic information and schedule, which may vary depending on the FIVB course instructor.

Throughout the course, teachers and other trainees will be taught volleyball techniques, as well as the history and basic rules of volleyball. They will also be instructed in dealing with volleyball-related injuries.

A maximum of 30 participants may register for the program. Applications may be requested by sending an email to [email protected]. Once completed, applications may be returned to the same email, or delivered to Gabriel White at the Law Offices of Michael White, located at the second floor of the Joeten Building in Susupe.

Applications will be treated on a first come, first serve basis. A refundable deposit of $100 per person must be paid upon registration. According to NMIVA, “A 50% refund will be issued to those who accomplish 100% attendance and an additional 50% refund will be issued to those who pass the final exam and receive their certificates.”

Inquiries may be sent via email to [email protected], or visit NMIVA’s site, https://sites.google.com/site/nmivolleyball.
