PAYDAY Hao fended off No Choice, 10-5, in the 2023 Budweiser Belau Amateur Softball Association Open League on Sunday at the Dandan baseball field.
Payday Hao drew first blood in the first inning after Mark Villagomez brought in Juan Iguel home via walk.
Their lead grew in the third inning, 6-0, thanks to Eli Aughenbaugh’s grand slam and Rob Bansil’s RBI single.
In the top of the fifth, Iguel hit a home run to make it 7-0.
No Choice finally broke the silence in the bottom half with five runs led by Bennett William’s three-RBI double to close the gap, 5-7.
Bu they were silenced once again for the remainder of the game while Payday Hao added the finishing touches in the seventh and final inning courtesy of Iguel’s three-run homer to seal the deal, 10-5.

Joining the winner’s circle were TutuRamz, which defeated Ready Mix, 18-10; Mamaaw, which outplayed Blue Jays, 15-8; and the Aimeliik Bat Boys, who powered past Team Mac, 17-2.
