Ian Benavente and Mina mounted the attack early in the game to set the lead in the first quarter.
Although Jun Tabora and Sonny Ebuen worked hard enough firing 10 and 4 of their total points respectively in the second quarter, some sort miscommunication gave them away with a few minutes left in the second half.
At this juncture, Mina went unstoppable as he kept the surge towards the half break to maintain the lead.
With Edel Cariño, Ebuen and Ferdie Tobias backing him up in the offense, Tabora lifted DL in the third to shave the deficit, although Sheen Metral and Aaron Agtarap were sizzling with eight points apiece for NVM at this period.
NVM tightened their defense and nailed DL to 66 points in the final quarter. Ian Benavente, had enough time on the bench to recharge himself and powered up to nine points again to help Mina who kept his adrenaline surge adding 13 points to finish with 30 markers wrap up their 89-66 victory.
Sparks 99, QQ Rent-A-Car 77
Ichitaro Faisao and Sajit Hossain scored 19 and 18 points respectively to set an insurmountable lead in the first quarter and the Sparks went on to beat QQ-Rent-A-Car.
Tom Santos who shared a bit of actions in the first period delivered a total of 16 points.
Jonathan Norita and Eugene Manglona chipped in nine and eight points respectively to secure the Sparks, 99-77 victory.
Raymond Babauta and Edwin Camacho scored seven points apiece.
