While leading by a single point at the dying seconds of the match, a miscommunication on the part of the Jaguar team turned costly as Ronald Osias drains a deuce on follow up rebound on the paint to give them a one point lead with 13 seconds remaining on the regulation. And as team Jaguar drew a play for their swing man, Jerome Ratunil, who drove with 10 seconds left to no avail when he has hounded by three defenders from the Bulls resulting to an ill-advised shot. From there, Bulls got the possession and ran the clock to its final buzzer with winning by a score of 85 – 84. Ronald Osias scored 20 points for the Ilocandia – Bulls win, while Jerome Ratunil and Ernie Bautista pitched in 22 and 18 respectively for the Jaguar team’s loss.
On the first game of the Filipino Basketball League, Surangel and Sons won by two points, 91 – 89, against team Guardians. Arnold Undecimo and Deloy Pinogt scored 28 and 16 for the Surangel win. For the second game, AXE Choppers was not match for the Rangers team as they went cold on their shots to succumb to the latter with a score of 96 – 59. Then on the third featured match, Western Union remained undefeated when they clobbered team Cardinals with a final tally of 100 – 8, despite having a spectacular comeback game from Perry Nulud who scored 34 points.
