The Pacific Games 2011 will be held in Nomea, New Caledonia and golf enthusiasts in the region have the chance to represent their islands.
CNMI which had been competing in this quadrennial event is now preparing a team to vie for next year’s title.
So in an effort to field the best team to represent the CNMI, the series of qualifying rounds was started last month.
There will be schedule to be followed as datelines must be met by the teams.
To qualify as a team member, the Pacific Games Charter requires team members to be U.S. citizens and a resident of the respective island or country for five years.
