Rosell Ritual and leading scorer Lerio Pagarao were the Grillins’ key offense for the match. Pagarao shot for a total of 27 points by the end of the game, while Ritual followed up with 20.
The Grillin’s had to play a steady offense and defense during the fourth quarter if they wanted to win the game.
They only led by one point against the Palm Resorts after the third quarter. Ritual dominated from the three point line, making three successive three-pointers plus another shot from Roger Herrera.
The Palm Resorts gained a brief lead after the first quarter but lost it in the second after suffering from several turnovers.
Both teams nearly went into overtime after tying 68-68, until Pagarao scored for an extra two points from his free throws.
