PHS – Spiders wins two in a row

PHS – Spiders had to rely on good passing on their first game to win two sets to none against a team coming from the Catholic Mission Schools (CMS), Mindszenty High School and Maris Stella School. After winning first set 25 – 22, Spiders managed to win the second set in a very tight game against CMS that ended with a score of 26 – 24 to finally beat their challenger 2 – 0 in sets. Then on the third day of the contest, Spiders showed their volleyball skills once more as they were able to drub a team composed of teachers and staff of the Special Education with a score of 25 – 20 and 25 – 10 to get a 2 wins and no loss in team standings.

As for the other teams and their results, Koror Elementary School (KES) beat Airai Elementary School (AES)in two sets while MOE staffs got the best out of team CMS in an exciting and exhilarating match that lasted for three sets with a score of 25 – 10, 16 – 25, and 28 – 27. Furthermore, Palau Community Action Agency easily called as PCAA, grabbed a win also when they hammered team George B. Harris I in another thrilling and electrifying game that went on for three sets with a final sets score of 16 – 25, 25 – 9, and 25 – 16.

Matches played for the MOE Volleyball league have the Koror Elementary multi sports gym as their venue located at the KES grounds, in which every Mondays to Fridays games start at exactly 6:00 p.m. for the first game and second game follows at around 7:00 p.m.
