The last half of the game proved to be brutal on the Hoopaholics’ side of the game. Not once did the PROAs let their guard up, instead, they played even harder and nailed more shots.
Overall Iguel contributed another 11 points through the third and fourth quarter whilst teammate Lizama collared another 10 points to secure their win against the undefeated Hoopaholics, 84-54.
The Northern Marianas College injunction with its physical fitness programs would like to proudly present its upcoming spring 2011 Intramurals Sports Challenge for the Men’s 5 vs. 5 Basketball tournament and its Co-Ed Volleyball tournament.
All interested participants are encouraged to pick up the registration forms for their respective field of interest at the Northern Marianas College gymnasium located near the Vocational building (V-Building).
Registrations are now ongoing. ALL registration forms for both tournaments are due at the NMC gym by tomorrow, February 4th, 2011 at 10am.
For the Men’s 5 vs. 5 Basketball tournament each team must have a staff, faculty, or student from NMC. A team can have as much as seven players registered under one captain.
In the Co-Ed Volleyball tournament, again, a team must have a staff, faculty, or student from NMC. A team can have as much as seven players registered under one captain.
All basketball competition will be held at the Northern Marianas College gymnasium. There will be a mandatory meeting for Team Captains or Team Representatives tomorrow, February 4th, 2011 at 10 am for Volleyball and 10:30 am for basketball to discuss rules, start date/time, and schedules for games.
