As the swimming federation tries to get water polo going here on the island, a volunteer, Navot Bornovski, will be running a camp for any interested individual or group every Saturday starting in the month of September from 4:30-6:00 P.M. in the afternoon. Mr. Bornovski will educate interested people with basic skills and eventually organize entertaining and enjoyable matches. The sport has similarities which has some elements of soccer that promotes good exercise. Once learned an individual needs to be able to move confidently and tread water that does not require fancy stroking skills.
Consequently, PSA is encouraging everyone to come down and try it out with a minimal fee of $1 for PSA members and $2 for non-members just to help defray pool chemical costs. For more information please contact the National Pool at Meyuns.
