Jose Tumaquip chipped in six of his 13 points to widen the gap in the first quarter.
With Ivan De Vero sizzling with 14 of his 31 points, MBI bounced back and ended the third quarter with one-point lead.
De Vero continued the surge in the final quarter but Villacrusis who had had enough rest in the third, heated up again and sank eight more points to regain the upper ground and PSS never looked back.
