PTI wins 1st place in 39th season of PBA-Budweiser Saturday Night League

PTI tallied 64.4 percentage wins in Lane 8 after having bowled over 5,8690 pins.

PTI took home $650 for its best finish.

PTI bowlers are Ramir DeLeon, Mindy Taitano, Ronald Fuellas, Ronald Epan, Bernard Paraiso, Richie Dumlao, and Ruselle Zapanta.

The team has bested Fiesta Resort & Spa which ended up with 51-point wins and 29-point losses last Saturday.

Fiesta Resort bagged $400.

Coming in for third place is Gigi’s Angels which completed 44-36 win-loss record, and received $300-cash prize.

Scrambled Eggs landed on fourth place with a score of 44 wins and 36 losses, taking home $200.

Fifth placer is Team X which finished 43-37 win-loss record.

Team X took home $100.

Other teams that were able to put their marks on the scoreboard include Just 4 Fun (6th place), SBC/J’s Restaurant (7th), Team #1 (8th), Philippine Consulate- General (9th), and Destroyer (10th).

Last Saturday’s bowling matches also witnessed the awarding of special prizes to participating teams.

SBC/J’s Restaurant landed first on the High Game Scratch with 1,081 points. The team also breezed through first place in the High Series Scratch (3,093) and High Series with Handicap (3,324).

Philippine Consulate-General finished first on the High Game with Handicap after bowling over 1,026 pins.

In the individual level competition of the High Game Scratch, Rusty Musca and Nich Gutierrez tied on first place in the Men’s division with identical scores of 267.

Ron Cal finished first in the Ladies division under the High Game Scratch.

Gutierrez also grabbed first place in the High Game with Handicap after fashioning 289 points in the lanes.

Seasoned bowler, Robert Talavera, got into first place in the High Series Scratch with 697 points.

Jorge Soledad was first on the High Series with Handicap in the Men’s division with his 732, while Malou Cabigao saw herself on top in the Ladies’ division. She scored 693.

Robert Talavera and Ron Cal won the High Average (202, 175) in the Men’s and Ladies’ divisions.

PBA-Budweiser has awarded a total of $2,420 in cash prizes.
