THE Last Shot Raiders remain in overall second place in the Tuesday division of the SBA Budweiser Open 8-Ball League 2024 after taking down Black 8 Crooked Arrow, 8-5, at the Last Shot Bar on Tuesday.

The Raiders, who improved their win-loss record to 45-33, quickly seized control with Maverick Espinosa showcasing a dominating performance over Joe Deleon Guerrero to claim the first Single 8-Ball game with six balls left on the table.

Raiders Jess Guerra, Rey Hermogenes, and Jerry Pelano followed suit, triumphing over their respective opponents to record a clean sweep in the opening set, 4-0.

But thanks to team chemistry, Crooked Arrow’s DLG and John Magofna, along with Oliver Gragasin and Mei Rengiil, equalized with a two-win sweep in the first set of the Partners 8-Ball games.

However, the Raiders remained superior in the one-on-one scene, notching a 3-1 run in the second set of the Singles 8-Ball games to remain in charge, 7-3.

Needing only one win, Hermogenes and Espinosa bagged the first Partners 8-Ball game to clinch match victory.

Crooked Arrow collected the remaining two games before settling for defeat, 5-8.

Shooters vs Rustlers

Another thrilling game was held at the Black 8 Pool Bar, this time between the Last Shot 8 Ball Shooters and the Black 8 Ideal Signs Rustlers.
