Left fielder Jesus Iguel went 4-for-5 and scored five runs in six attempts.
He led off a double in the top of the first inning and Omar’s line drive to the right field went for a single and drove in the only run.
Short stop Shane Yamada and Pat Alepuyo singled, then, Iguel and Omar had their second base hit before Pete Tomokane’s grounder earned him a run-scoring single to give the Rangers a strong lead over the Brewers.
Alepuyo drove in a run with a single and Iguel hit his third base hit to stretch the lead in the third inning. After a scoreless fourth inning when the Brewers cushioned the deficit, the Rangers were at it again with Celis driving in run on an error, Benwachi Taisacan and Dave Camacho’s sacrifice bats.
Omar drove in a run with a sacrifice fly and Iguel’s fourth base hit—a line drive to the right field sent him to the second base and drove in a run pulling the Rangers farther away.
Iguel drove in another run in the seventh inning and Celis added more RBI single and the Rangers secured their win.
Kelvin Kapileo pitched six innings and had seven strike outs.
