William Retardo
WILLIAM Retardo claimed the coveted Ace of Aces title of the Filtaga Golfers Association with an average net score of 68.5 at the Coral Ocean Resort golf course on Saturday.
On the front nine, Retardo performed exceptionally well with a birdie on hole #7 and a couple of bogeys for a gross score of 40.
On the back nine, he made just one bogey and closed the rest of the holes with pars, finishing 1-over par with a gross score of 37 and a gross total of 77.
With a handicap of 9, Retardo’s net score was 68, which, combined with his first-round net score of 69, gave him a gross total of 137 and an average net score of 68.5, clinching the top spot.
In second place was Freddie Cataluna. Although he shot better overall, he sported a handicap of 4, which gave him a two-game gross total of 139 and an average net score of 69.5.
In third place was Palikkun Tom with 71.5, Albert Pajarillaga with 72, Edgar Abalos with 73, Das Krishnan and Adony Matutino both with 74.5, Henry Bautista and Ed Varias both with 76, Ruben Avendanowith with 77.5, and Ronnie Santos with 79.
