“There was no qualifying tournament for May because there were not enough players,” said RGA’s Jesse Wabol. “According to the rules of our association at least eight players need to show up during the competitions for the game to commence,” explained Wabol.
The players are also reminded to bring food and beverage because there will be a potluck celebration at the end of the tournament at the Marianas Country Club as well.
Last month, Asterio Tawanpiy kept his throne after posting the best net during the April ace qualifier posting a net of 69 outshining all other RGA competitors including the main event in the Ace of April tournament.
Jesse Seman came close driving the ball with all his might and power netting a 69 as well. But RGA’s Jesse Wabol explained that this was not enough because the point of the second game was to beat the score and not tie with it.
Seman will have now have the chance to beat Tawanpiy in the upcoming Ace of May competition this Sunday.
