Rocky Steady gained the 9-0 victory in Game 2 of the playoffs series on Saturday when D9ers ran short of one player after Bob Lizama was ejected halfway to the seventh inning.
Struggling through six scoreless innings, Bob Lizama dashed to the first base after hitting the ball against Rocky Steady pitcher, Jonathan Camacho.
However, Lizama was called out by the umpire.
D9ers insisted it was safe and a heated argument ensued that resulted with Lizama ejected from the game.
In the preceding game, Rangers routed defending champion,
Falcons, 13-5 in the second round of double header.
Rangers’ Greg Sanchez pitched nine strong innings allowing the Falcons to score only two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.
