Brandon Aurelio of the Rollers yanked the driver’s seat from team Saina vigorously after collaring 9 points swiftly in the first quarter of the game edging past the Sainas by 2 sturdy points at the bottom of the first quarter.
Jason Palacios and Joe Baza jumped into the wagon as they each bagged downtown shots working with Aulerio’s 4 contributed points and widening the gap he secured in the first quarter. Baza and Palacios moved swiftly in the court each fending off 6 points in the second quarter.
It was history for team Saina after repeatedly missing their shots and losing possession of the ball. Team players from players from Saina repeatedly passed the ball to no open receivers causing the ball to be out of bounds over and over again.
In the third quarter of the game Saina’s players only slipped past the Rollers three times to clock in an over all contribution of 5 points entirely.
With the Rollers’ winning rampage, Jomar Danas breached past the Sainas’ defense numerous times to collar in 6 points. By the end of the quarter the Rollers managed to widen the gap to a deep 18 point crevice between the two teams.
Fatigue got the better part of the Sainas as they trudged onto the fourth quarter with high spirits, Pedro Castro, Reinold Ferrer, and Michael Saturno worked together clocking in 6 points a piece in a herculean effort to catch up to the already leading Rollers.
But Jason Palacios kept all of them at bay after tagging in two downtown shots to tally in 6 points for the Rollers, needless to say, the Rollers dominated by 7 points, 63-56.
