League coordinator, Ponce Rasa Jr., said the game between Ol’ Aces and Kagman Sparks will start at 5 p.m., today at the Gilbert C. Ada Gym.
Rasa said that right after the BANMI officials met with the Rotary League’s coaches and managers two weeks ago, the issue regarding unpaid entry fees of $100 was resolved.
Besides non-compliance on uniform by some of the teams, Rasa said the entry fee is among the important things that had to be addressed why BANMI had to call for a time out and sit down with team coaches.
He said all the 12 teams have so far completed the requirement which pave the way for the continuation of the league.
After putting the league into a halt, BANMI President Elias Rangamar called for a meeting to address some concerns, not only on incomplete requirements but also on the punctuality and the way some teams are handled during the games.
Rasa expressed confident that everything will run smoothly now with the Rotary league, as they prepare for the next basketball event.
Meanwhile, there will be minor changes on the time, he said. By Nov. 14, games will start at 5:30 p.m., as the Ada Gym will house the championship games of the Coalition of Private School volleyball tournament.
The triple header between G-Stars and Runnin’ Rebels; the 670 Rollers and Young 670 Rollers and Celtics and Rollers originally scheduled on Nov. 14 will be pushed to the end of November.
