ASIDE from the top three finishes, several individuals also shared the spotlight as age group category winners of the Run Saipan Labor Day Half Marathon and 5K Fun Run 2024 at American Memorial Park on Saturday morning.
In the half marathon, the list starts with the 19-39 age group category. The men’s division was led by Jordan Ruiz with a time of 01:52:10 followed by Daryn Roufs with 1:53:09 and Aaron Pamintuan with 01:57:04 while the women’s division was led by Hannoul Sky Lee who clocked 2:18:20 followed by Macie Plagens at 2:32:32, and Jeane Bracken at 02:40:41.
In the 40-44 age group, the women’s division was led by Angela Taflinger who clocked 2:13:34 followed by Kathleen Tolentino at 2:23:17, and Ali Nelson at 02:37:30.
In the 45-49 age group, the men’s division was led by Jov Chavez with a time of 02:45:13.
In the 50-54 age group, the men’s division was led by Matthew Furan who clocked 01:59:51, followed by James Abuy at 2:06:24, and Raymund Tolentino at 02:10:32. The woman’s division was led by Mei Hua Jin at 02:37:44 followed by Frances Pangelinan at 03:52:15.
In the 55-59 age group, the men’s division was led by Ron Snyder who clocked 2:08:47 while the women’s division was led by Jin Zi Wen at 02:37:38 followed by Gui Jie Sun at 03:09:27.
In the 60-65 age group, the men’s division was led by Chong Name Lee with a time of 01:57:37.
5K Fun Run
In the U18 age group, the men’s division was led by Samuel Zhu with a time of 20:24 followed by Michael Miller with 21:23, and Victor Neil Santos with 22:37, while the girl’s division was led by Aubrey White with a time of 26:24 followed by Brooklyn Jones with 26:59, and Faith Arriola with 28:00.
In the 19-39 age group, the men’s division was led by Chris Zemple who clocked 30:31 followed by Merrik McDonald at 30:31, and Ariel Lapuz at 31:27, while the woman’s division was led by Sherri Borja at 33:01 followed by Saori Okuma at 33:11, and Yuhe Fang at 44:30.
In the 35-39 age group, the woman’s division was led by Dianne Mallari who clocked 25:24 followed by Kimberly White at 40:07, and Bhek Osorio at 44:51.
In the 40-44 age group, the men’s division was led by Adam Walsh with a time of 22:01 followed by Christopher Racine with 25:34, and Greg Arriola with 42:59, while the woman’s division was led by Robyn Spaeth with a time of 29:16 followed by Kathy Ruszala with 29:23, and Pamela Walsh with 31:22.
In the 45-49 age group, the men’s division was led by Ajani Burrell who clocked 26:34 followed by Mark McDonald at 30:31, and Brad Ruszala at 38:35, while the women’s division was led by Christine Cho at 39:05.
In the 50-54 age group, the men’s division was led by Daniel Dilse who clocked 25:47 followed by Ferdinand Santos at 28:58, and Gregory Retsinas at 30:31, while the woman’s division was led by Jennifer Retsinas at 33:20 followed by Leonora Abuy at 36:27.
In the 55-59 age group, the men’s division was led by Ronaldo Quindoza with a time of 31:51 while the woman’s division was led by Miriam Dilse with a time of 32:55 followed by Kim Church at 38:41, and Lun Jian Hua at 43:00.
In the 65+ age group, the men’s division was led by Steve Pixley with a time of 25:24 followed by Changwan Jang with 29:04.
