Saipan Cell grounds CUC

Paython Sakuma who helped Saipan Cell rally past Public School System during last month’s game with four RBIs was a notched higher on Monday hitting five RBIs.

He sent Tyron Omar and Leo Bobai home in his first two RBIs to take the lead in the first inning. Saipan Cell did not look back as Sakuma allowed Omar again and James Villacrusis to score runs in the second inning.

Dave Kapileo homered as he, Villacrusis, Omar and Bobai rallied in the four-run inning to secure the victory, 14-8.

Kuich Damian hit two RBIs, one double and a single, while John Acosta hit one RBI.

Bobai struck out three holding CUC is score less  in the fourth, sixth and final innings.

CUC-Ladies 12, Finance 2

In Ladies division however, CUC was hatching up a different story.

With Dolorina Panuelo hitting three RBIs, the power ladies pounded Finance,          12-2 in the second game.

Panuelo also held Finance scoreless in four innings allowing only Liz Lebria to score runs in the first and fourth innings.

CUC’s Jenny Palacios had two go-ahead singles with one RBI. Semi Simiram and Roquita Norita also hit an RBI.

PSS 8, Law and Order 3

Public School System also pounded Law and Order to take the early lead in the first inning, with John Terlaje allowing only Emery Kaipat to score a run. He held Lawand Order scoreless in the three consecutive innings and allowed George Lisua to score another run in the sixth inning before finishing them off in the final.

Terlaje hit a homerun in the first inning and had three RBIs to punish Law and Order with its latest loss, 8-3.

Derrick Aughenbaugh also homered in the first inning and hit two RBIs to secure win.

Emery Fitial and Dustin Quitano hit one RBI.
