THE Saipan Little League is excited to announce its reformation and the return of its baseball season after a five-year hiatus. The last time the league had a season was in 2019, and the community is eagerly anticipating the return of this cherished tradition.
The Saipan Little League has been a cornerstone of the community, providing a fun and competitive environment for young athletes to develop their baseball skills and foster a love for the game. The reformation of the league marks a significant moment for families and fans alike, as we look forward to rebuilding and enhancing our youth sports program.
“We are thrilled to bring back the Saipan Little League and provide our youth with the opportunity to engage in a sport that promotes teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship,” said Ray Yumul, president of the Saipan Little League. “By bringing back youth baseball, this organization aims to give our youths a place to develop their skills in the game and we are committed to offering a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.”
There will be a SLL Board meeting scheduled this Wednesday, Dec. 18, 5:30 p.m. in the Ada Gym conference room, and we have invited all interested in volunteering to kick-off the 2025 playing season. The registration for the upcoming season is now open, and we encourage all interested players, coaches, and volunteers to join us in making this a memorable season. The league will feature various age divisions, ensuring that children of all skill levels have the chance to participate and enjoy the game.
Join us in celebrating the return of the Saipan Little League and support our youth as they take to the field once again. Let’s play ball!
