Sanciangco lifts Hoopaholics past Runnin’ Rebels

Together with Melvin Manibusan, Sanciangco set most turn-overs grabbing ball possessions on both offensive and defensive rebounds.

The 2008 HANMI Cup most valuable player also helped the team with three assists and two steals.

Edward Diaz hit 17 markers and Kelvin Fitial made the best use of his height chipping in 16 points.

Fitial, Manibusan and Diaz tightened the defense putting one shot block each.

Runnin’ Rebels’ Robert Coldeen Jr., almost single-handedly carried the team with 19 points and 10 rebounds.

Joseph Villacrusis added 13 points.

Wowie Abuel exploded with 23 points to pace IT & E’s six-point win over Quichocho Law Office.

Andres Estolas who equaled Abuel eight assists in the game, scored 18 points preventing Quichocho’s from closing the gap too narrow.

Edzel Mendoza who joined Kelvin Bernardo in the air for rebounds, was also aggressive hitting 14 markers.

Bernardo scored 12 points and had six rebounds, and Gyles Ruluked added 10 points.
