SAIPAN Community School emerged victorious Thursday, displaying dominance as they silenced Chacha Ocean View Middle School 4-0 in the girls’ middle school division of the PSS-NMIFA Interscholastic Soccer League SY25-26 at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville.

At first, both teams were evenly matched, filling the first 20 minutes with endless exchanges. Around the 25th minute, SCS’ efforts were rewarded as they broke down Chacha’s defense on the weak side, allowing Nadine Van Dam to take the go-ahead and find the back of the net, 1-0.

The opening goal served as a spark, with Scarlett Burrell taking over the spotlight and scoring a barrage of goals. Burrell struck first in the 27th minute to end the first half and carried the momentum into the second half, adding two more goals in the 35th and 46th minutes to seal a 4-0 victory.

Chacha tried their best to defend their end of the artificial turf, but their efforts proved ineffective.
