THE Bistro SIA BullsHitters are the Inter-Government Division champions of the 2024 SEDA Bud Light Dart League after beating the 9Eleven Bud Kings, 8-4, in a title match at the Bistro Marianas on Friday.
The BullsHitters’ team chemistry ignited their run early in the night as Patrick Cruz and Dettz “LowTonese” Aldan, along with Harry “Smooth” Nakamura and James “Jembo” Tudela, swept the Bud Kings, 2-0, in the opening set of the Partners 501 games.
Individually, the Bud Kings held their own as Coby “Smooth” Santos and Greg Sablan collected their team’s first two wins. However, the BullsHitters’ Nakamura and Aldan claimed the remaining two games to split the Singles Crazy Cricket match and stay afloat, 4-2.
In the Partners 701 games, it was the Bud Kings’ turn to shine as the pair of Santos and Jeff “Dahmer” Castro, along with Russ “Pogi” Cruz and Henry “D-TANKS” Manglona, recorded their first two-win sweep for the first deadlock of the night, 4-4.
However, in a race to eight points, the BullsHitters were the first to reach game point as Tudela, Nakamura, Cruz, and Aldan completed a four-win sweep in the Singles Half-It games to end the match and claim the Inter-Government Division’s Bud Light Cup, 8-4.
