Leo Galarse ignited the winning momentum for team Sonics in the first quarter after collaring 6 swift points combining with his other teammate to grip an early 7 point lead by the end of the quarter showing team Sparks that they were not afraid of them though team Sparks were much taller.
The Sparks were only able to bag a total of 8 points after the Sonics created an immovable barrier against them. By the end of the first quarter the score was tallied to 15-8.
The Sparks entered the second quarter with a sour taste of revenge in the first quarter. Team Sparks fought back in their herculean effort to close the gap and by the end of the second quarter they were able to dapper the gap to four points, 22-26 coinciding with the end of the first half of the game.
After a three minute silence both teams traded baskets with each other whilst entering the second half of the bout.
The Sonics stood firm and strong still managing a three point lead 40-37 by the end of the third quarter of the game.
Both teams nervously anticipated the final quarter of the game. Ajoste, Galarse, and Tristan Ecalnea all scored four points apiece after rpetadely nabbing rebounds and stealing p;ossession of the ball from down town whilst the Sparks’ Faisao and Hossain were halted repeatedly to score a combination of 9 points total.
The Sonics pushed past the Sparks to blemish their perfect record avenging their first lost, 53-48.
