Memorial Classic Golf Tournament

THE Refaluwash Golf Association would like to announce its Memorial Classic Golf Tournament on November 8, Saturday, at the Marianas Country Club in Marpi.

The tournament will two formats – Low Gross (men & women) and Low Net Double Peoria.

For the Low Gross, the following prizes will be given away: $300 (1st place); $200 (2nd place); and $100 (3rd place).

For Low Net Double Peoria, the prizes are $500 (1st place); $300 (2nd place); and $200 (3rd place).

There also will be special awards for the closest to the pin in Hole #6, #8, and #12, and a hole-in-one in Hole #16.

Showtime is at 6:30 a.m.

Tee time is at 7:30 a.m.

There will be an awards banquet after the matches.

Entry fee is $100.

Portions of the tournament proceeds will benefit the Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary School.

Customs Goodwill Softball Tournament

THERE will be a Customs Goodwill Softball Tournament on October 17 at 6 p.m. on Capital Hill Ballfield.

Finals will be held on October 19 at 9 a.m.; the same venue.

Meeting on Saipan Little League season

THE Saipan Little League Baseball Association, Inc. announces its annual organizational meeting today, October 7, at 5:30 p.m., at the pavilion behind the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.

SLLBAI invites parents, managers, coaches, umpires and other interested individuals to attend the meeting.

The agenda will include the election of new board of directors, the official announcement of the 2009 Little League regular season, and other concerns.

OBP Golf Tournament

THE Off the Beaten Path, a non-profit organization, will be holding a charity golf match on Saturday, October 18, at the Laolao Bay Golf course in Kagman.

Ticket price is $100.

The OBP tournament aims to raise funds for the purchase of new medical equipment and supply for the Commonwealth Health Center.

RGA Family Fun Day

THE Refaluwash Golf Association would like to inform all its members that there will be a Family Fun Day on December 13 at a venue that will later be announced.

The event will include games for children, husbands and wives of RGA members.

Cash prize and in-kind items will be given away.
