Taitano, Masaharu’s triples help Peleliu rout PIC; Hilitai ends 7-game skid

Peleliu clobbered PIC with six base hits three of which drove in runs to set the lead in the five-run first inning.

Payton Sakuma struck out one in the third inning as he and the Peleliu fielders allowed only one run in the fourth, out of three base hits PIC made.

Charley Kenty, Clayton Kenty and Darwin Masaharu had one RBI each in the first inning.

Payton Sakuma had an RBI double in the fourth.

Mike Saures who doubled for PIC scored the only run on outfielder’s error from Smith Reyes land drive in the fourth inning.

Ngatpang Hilitai 8, Pingelap 7

Ngatpang Hilitai rallied in the second inning and took the lead then, snatched the win from Pingelap, 8-7 to end their seven-game losing streak.

The Ngatpang sluggers left the batting plate scoreless at the end of the first inning before Pingelap pounded them with four base hits in the bottom of the first inning.

Jeff Isaac rocketed a run-scoring triple before Frank Kelulau drove him in on an error off short stop.

Ben Higgin also fired an RBI single to hand Pingelap the lead.

But after Joshua Kiyoshi made it to the first base on short stop’s next error, Drew Magofna fired a go-ahead single then, with one out, John Piakur singled.

Mario Palacios and Vincent Norita drove-in runs with their single and Ben Lisua drove-in a run with a sacrifice fly.

Magofna doubled in the third inning before Palacios sent him home with single to take the lead.

Palacios walked off Pisan Peter and Ben Lisua drove him in with single.

Asahi 11, AJ Falcons 1

Hector Efraim knocked in a two-run double in the fifth inning to complete their 11-1 rout of AJ Falcons.

Rogue Camacho had an RBI single in the first inning, Jordan Hayes walked and Ken Muna drove-in a run with a sacrifice fly on center field.

Cliffton Hill doubled but his attempt failed when third baseman, Henry Reyes completed the pass from short stop, Johnny Robert in the third inning.

Camacho scored the fourth run on Poland Yamada’s fielder’s choice and Ken Muna singled Yamada in.

Camacho fired a run-scoring single in the third.
