THE Northern Marianas Athletics Association will host a meet-and-greet with 2025 Pacific Mini Games gold medalist Tania Tan and other NMI national record holders today, Thursday, July 17, at the Oleai Sports Complex from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Besides Tan, a two-time gold medalist and NMI record holder in the half marathon (1:28:40), the other featured athletes are:

• Lyle Pedro, gold medalist in the men’s hammer throw;

•  Maria Quitugua, NMI record holder in the javelin (37.30m);

•  Victor Nash Santos, NMI record holder in the 10,000m (36:30.64);

•  Kaithlyn Chavez, NMI record holder in the 800m (2:26.83); and

•  Simon Tang, NMI record holder in the 110m hurdles (16.47).

The event is open to coaches and young athletes, who are invited to hear the athletes’ stories and experiences, take photos, and celebrate their historic achievements.
