Ehroll Peredo and Sahnee Rañola who topped the scoring sheet after the last game of the regular season hitting 31 and 33 respectively, let a deja vu takes place on Thursday as the tandem continue to carry the load for Tasi Tours for 99-90 victory over Shirley’s/ Blue Haus.
Peredo and Rañola repeated their three-point performance and even made their defensive moves a lot better.
Peredo who was scoreless in the first quarter went 3-for-4 in the final quarter as he scored 32 points including five three-pointers from second quarter and third quarter.
Rañola finished with 31 points without committing a single foul through out the entire game. He basketed all his six free throws in first half before going scoreless in the third quarter then rallied to beat Shirley’s by hitting four of his seven free throws in the fourth quarter.
Banjo Basila and Bernardo Aquino both scored 12 points.
Shirley’s key players worked together as almost all of them scored. They were leading in the first quarter when Steve Rasa missed three of his five free throws in the second quarter leaving Tasi Tours the chance to over take.
Elmer Esdrelon scored 27 points and Ryan Sanciangco added 22 points.
Taga Warriors 72, Tan Holdings 69
In the Masters Division, Taga Warriors asserted their regular season dominance beating Tan Holding CTSI, 72-69.
Jun Abedes led the first quarter with a three pointer and went 7-for-13 scoring most of his 24 points in the final quarter.
Ronald Delos Reyes followed Abedes’s shot from the arc with his own three-pointer also in the first quarter although they ran short to tie in the first half.
The decisive run took place in the third quarter when Abedes hit a three-pointer and Ed Cosino basketed his two free throws to end the third quarter 57-54.
Cosino scored 18 points and Delos Reyes added 14 points.
