The Typhoons defeated the Little Lions in the bottom of the fourth by the 10 run mercy rule 12-2.
The Junior League Division also opened up their division at the Tinian Field with the IT&E Typhoon taking on the Little Lions Junior League team with the IT&E Typhoon trampling the Lions 15-5 via 10 run mercy rule.
The Big League Division also opened up their division with LionHeart defeating the Typhoon by a score of 13-3.
The Little League Majors Division consisted of three teams: FPA-PBI Typhoon, Little Lions, and the Patriots. The Junior League Division consisted of two teams: IT&E Typhoon and the Little Lions. The Big League division consists of two teams: Typhoon and LionHeart.
The President of the Tinian Little League Association, Ike Aquiningoc, would like to extend his thanks to all the sponsors and donors who made this little league season possible even in these harsh economic times.
