Against SIS, which was led by Kuu Nishimura, Tinian’s powerhouse duo, Leo Epity and Tyler Santos, scored all of their team’s points in the first half, but thanks to Nishimura’s performance, SIS led18-14.

In the final half, the Stallions led by Sir Dela Cruz earned a come-from-behind victory against SIS, 32-27.

In their next game, the Stallions had to cope with Mount Carmel School Varsity’s marksmanship. But the Stallions’ Epity and Santos soon controlled the boards and the first half ended with Tinian in the lead, 20-15.

In the final half, MCS Varsity relied on Richardson to generate the needed buckets but Tinian managed to fend off the Knights in the final seconds to win, 29-27.

Tinian’s Sir Dela Cruz led his team with 12 points while Leo Epity contributed 8 points. Palacios and Cruz also joined the scoreboard with 5 and 4.

MCS Varsity’s Mathew Richardson scored a game high of 16 points while team-mates Dela Cruz and Toves contributed with 9 and 2.
