Tanapag Middle School’s Kinluk Sharry extends for the bump return during a boys middle school division game of the PSS-NMIVA Interscholastic Volleyball League SY24-25 at the MHS gym.

TANAPAG Middle School collected their second win in the boys middle school division of the PSS-NMIVA Interscholastic Volleyball League SY24-25 by outhustling Saipan International School, 21-14, 22-20, at the Marianas High School gym on Thursday.

In the opening set, TMS thrived at the service line, with Kinluk Sharry, Peter Camacho, and Deon Sablan scoring several aces. Paired with strong early returns and spike finishes, TMS secured the first set with ease, 21-14.

The second set was a different story, however. Led by Jake Duenas, Eric Pi, and Kanoa Owen, SIS managed to stay toe-to-toe throughout most of the exchange. However, they couldn’t stop TMS’ momentum, as Javale Marciano, Jon Jon San Nicholas, and Rhyane Umali joined the fray to outscore SIS 22-20, and secure their second match victory.
