With Ron Gamboa’s five points including a fresh three-pointer and Joy Dayrit’s back-up Tumaquip secured Viel’s advantage in the first quarter.
Tumaquip blasted from behind arc and Dan Rey Chan succeeded a three-point play to help maintain their lead in the second.
Dayrit surged in the third quarter while Mico Usi delivered eight points including a three-pointer and Viel’s never looked back.
Dayrit added seven points to finish 21 while Ron Gamboa chipped in three of his 13 points in the final period.
Dan Mateo who helped tighten the defense picking many steals lead Lynn’s BBQ as he finished with 20 points while Reymark Castro added 12 points.
Pacific Gold 62, Strikers 47
Andy Mortos and Robert Guiang kept the surge in the final quarter and handed Pacific Gold 15-point victory against the Strikers.
Mortos scored seven of his 17 points to help put up the lead in the first quarter. Francis Serrano and Robert Guiang defended their lead in the second, pouring in five and three points respectively.
Louigi Iglesias hit a three-pointer in the third quarter and Rolly Paraiso had five points to help Pacific Gold stay strong.
Guiang and Mortos scored six more apiece in the final quarter and they went all the way to rout the Strikers.
James led the Strikers’ scoring hands tallying 18 points.
Rollers 121, Morales 67
During last Friday’s game, Zack Tudela scattered 26 points in the court, while Ham Hambros who dominated the rebounds sizzled with 25 points leading the Rollers bound Morales Team.
Tudela rampaged in the first quarter firing 20 of his total points.
Biff Baka and Hambros carried the team together in the third quarter. Baka tallied a total of 15 points.
Hambros continued the surge in the fourth stretching their lead wider with 13 more points, while Jomar Danas and Manny Matagolai added seven and eight points respectively.
