Twins rally past A’s; Ol’ Aces rout Hustlers

With Justin Lisua driving in a run with double, the A’s were leading in the top of the second.

However in their next turn to bat, Twins starter, Ernest Henry Sablan Jr., struck out two of them and the A’s went scoreless in the third inning.

Jun Atalig grabbed the lead on a stolen base in the bottom of the third and Philip John Sablan led the rally in the fourth inning by firing a run-scoring single. Ernest Henry Jr, and Atalig added an RBI single apiece and the Twins never trailed to secure their 14-7 win.

Ol’ Aces 20, Hustlers 3

Jesse Brel and Michael Muna went 3-for-4 to help the Ol’ Aces dominate the Hustlers, 20-3.

Virgil Secharmidal and Timothy Lee Wesley hit an RBI single apiece while Muna knocked in a run-scoring double to set the lead in the top of the first inning.

Oscar Stefano tripled in the fourth as Secharmidal’s second base hit drove in a run. Payton Lizama and Mina had an RBI double and the Ol’ Aces pulled away.

Muna drove in a run for third time with a single and Stefano hit a two RBI double to end the Hustlers chance to close in.

Survivors 6, Braves 2

First baseman James Kintaro drove in two runs with a double in the top of the third inning leading the Survivors to beat the Tanapag Braves, 6-2.

Joseph Seo singled and scored run on an error, then, Anthony Scott Deleon Guerrero hit an RBI single to set the lead in the top of the second inning.

Kintaro stretched the lead with his two-run single.

Jerry Kintol had an RBI single in the fourth and the Survivors never looked back.

Strikers 9, JPO 7

Yesterday, Juden Joyner fired run-scoring single in the top of the first inning and Perry Angelo Celis drove in a run with a double in the third to secure the lead of Shell Strikers leading to their 9-5 win over the Junior Police Officers Enforcers.

Daniel Joshua Terlaje drove in a run with a walk, and Celis knocked in run-scoring single to help the Strikers widen the gap in the fourth inning.

Piling Terlaje walked and drove in a run on a passed ball then, Manuel Celis Jr., drove in a run to keep the lead.

With Fred Anthony Songao blasting a two-run double after Robert Ishmael Solis’ RBI single, the Enforcers cut the Strikers lead in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Songao hit his second two-run double and the Enforcers closed in. However, an attempt to get the third base gave him away and ended their hope to come back.

Lions 12, JPO 6 (Saturday)

The Enforcers lost to the Kagman Little Lions last Saturday as G-Boy Taitingfong went 2-for-2 and JP Taitano, 2-for-4.
