UBA president James Lee said this will be the second UBA basketball event for the players 18 years old and below and 15 years old and below, that started a handful of teams last year.
He noted that the youth league is growing.
From only six teams in the 18U last year, eight teams are joining the league next Monday. In the 15U, there will be there teams—Sonics, Rollers and Blazers that will play in a double round robin for the regular season and double elimination for the play off.
The 18U teams include Kagman, Sixers, Sonics, Rollers A, Rollers B, Sparks, and the Hi-Five and Celtics that are having their UBA debut this year.
League commissioner Marvin Deocares would like to thank the main sponsor, the Docomo Pacific for making the second UBA youth league possible.
