UFC fighter to highlight Gorilla’s Confrontation

The first ever New York City resident to appear on The Ultimate Fighter, Nover who earned a name, “The Filipino Assassin” will spend time with MMA fans for an autograph signing from 3 p.m., to 5 p.m. today.

Of Polish and Filipino descent, the 24-year-old “ultimate fighter holds an MMA record of five wins and one draw.

His fight against Kyle Bradley last May ended in a questionable stoppage and the TKO decision became controversial.

Nover is also expected to see action against Rob Emerson at UFC 109 in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Feb. 6, 2010, as he is extremely anxious to prove he still belongs on the UFC roster after the colorful episodes in his MMA career.

Nover currently holds a rank of brown belt under his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Teacher Alexandre “Soca” Freitas and fights out of Team Insight.

Gorilla Warfare MMA promoter, Jeff Boyer said the GWA family is extremely excited to have Nover as part of the event.

With him here, the GWA organizers feel that Saipan MMA is once again having a great opportunity to bring to the awareness of the bigger MMA family in the states, the island’s hospitality and its enthusiasm in MMA.
