Mike Taitano led off a triple, Marvin Kaipat hit an RBI single and Joshua Arriola and Joe Lizama knocked-in two-run single apiece to pound the G-Ballers in the top of the first inning.
In the bottom of the first inning, the UR Balls defenders kept the bases clear freezing the G-Ballers first three batters on the plate.
Derrick Ayuyu singled and Mike Taitano drove him in for the second triple in the game,then, Giovanni Ayuyu hit an RBI double.
After Taitano’s single in the fifth, Giovanni rocketed a two-run home run.
Vincent Sablan and Marvin Kaipat fired a run-scoring double apiece and the UR Balls never let go of the sure 15-2 victory.
Natibu 16, 6-Pack 15
Left fielder JR Suel caught Blas Magofna’s fly ball, third baseman Pete Tegeita threw Dan Repeki out in the first base and Ned Norita struck Paul Pua out and the Natibu defenders defended their one-run lead to secure their win.
Natibu fell short to get even after 6-Pack pounded them with three base hits in the top of the second inning.
Despite Dave Kapileo’s solo home run and Suel’s two-run single, Natibu were still down by two after three complete innings.
With outfielder, Ken Kalen and left fielder Suel catching fly balls, Natibu halted 6-Pack from hitting them harder in the top of the fourth inning.
Kalen singled and Suel rocketed a three-run home run, and Natibu took the lead in the bottom of the fourth.
But with Mel Aldan firing a three-run shot, Pual knocking-in a run-scoring single and John Magofna an RBI double, 6-Pack took the front seat again in the top of the fifth.
Tegeita singled, BJ Sablan scored run on an error and Jonathan Welson and Natibu wiped out 6-Pack’s two-run lead.
Kalen took the first base on an error by short stopper and Suel drove him in with a single for the winning run.
Hitz 14, Berdax 4
Kyle Kaipat who fired a three-run home run in the first, grand slammed in the third inning to take the lead and the Hitz never trailed all the way to their 14-4 win over the Berdax.
In the first inning, Asap Ogumoro led off a solo home run for Berdax Bill Camacho drove-in a run on a sacrifice fly and Jack Diaz hit an RBIsingle.
Kaipat’s three-run home run in the bottom of the first was not enough help the Hitz come back, but they strengthened the defense allowing Berdax no base hits in the following innings.
The Hitz secured their win in the bottom of the fifth with Sky Martin knocking-in a run-scoring single and Ruben Olkeriil firing a two-run single.
