Castro’s performance during the first roll-off last Sept. 13, slipped off his hands but retained his first place spot when Simon Manacop who trailed him last week failed to beat his Round 1 pin falls.
Castro tallied 830 pin falls on Sept. 13 while Manacop finished with 795 pin falls on the same day.
Last Sunday, Castro fell too far behind eking out 728 and Manacop improved to 795 pin falls but still too short of beating Castro’s first roll-off score.
Also making it to the top five were Raymond Zapanta and Kitz Barja who tied in 786 pinfalls; Robert Talavera who earned 769 pin falls and Raymond Angeles, 758 pin falls.
In women’s division, Williams also defended her slot as her first roll-off score of 703 improved to 711 pin-falls.
Lyn Santos tallied 672 pin falls for the second place and Gigi Zapanta settled for third with 662 pin falls.
Gina Sablan tallied 658 pin falls, Lala Taitano, 657 and Diane Camacho 653 making it to the top five.
