The Yakaus currently fill in first place throne in the ladies division with 108 wins and 42 losses with a record winnin average of 72 percent.
Rowena Trombetta drew first blood of the competition during the opening rounds of 301 Double in/ Double out round after navigating her darts in the doubles area moving swiftly across the board to secure her 301 points before Yakau’s Lois Blaluk got her bearings in the game.
Sally Aguon and Frances Magofna redeemed their teams name during games two and three of the round splitting the points in half. At the bottom of the round the scores were up two points all.
The Yakaus moved into the Partners Wild and Crazy Cricket round securing areas 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, and 15 to clinch both points offered in the round. The Yakaus was shy two centimeters from securing the bull’s eye.
Blaluk, Magofna, and Aguon nailed three points for their team during the 501 Double in/ Double out round besting Rita Fitial, Claire Aldan, and Luz Antonio. Man Amigas’ Yvonne Pangelinan snatched the final point of the round away from Ressie Takeda.
The Yakaus secured another victorious game under their belts after garnering the final point in the Team 1011/1101 Double in/ Double out round, 11-4.
So far in the league Frances Magofna has secured the High In title with 154 points whilst High Out title currently belongs to D’Pirates Aschooscho’s Matrina Lisua.
In second place in the overall ladies division is team Aschooscho with 106 wins and 44 losses losing their throne two week ago to last season’s Jonny’s Yakau. Team Aschooscho is pulling in a winning average of 70.67 percent.
In third place comes Buddies Sistah moving one slot up from the Buddies Man Amigas with 71 wins and 64 losses, a 52.59 percent winning average.
The Man Amigas are currently pulling in 67 wins and 83 losses with a 44.67 percent winning average. The ladies division games are scheduled to take place every Monday injunction with the A division at various bar venues around the island.
