THE CNMI Women’s Golf Association’s newest member, Youngmin Choi, topped CWGA’s first tournament of the 2025 season on May 10 at Laolao Bay Golf & Resort’s west course.
Choi played like a veteran golfer, shooting a gross of 46 on the front nine.
Her performance on the back nine solidified her place at the top as she shot a gross of 37 for a gross total of 83.
With handicap of 16, Choi earned a net score of 67 to secure first place.
Coming in second was Sae Hee Kim, who shot a gross of 41 and 40 for a gross total of 81. Supported by a handicap of 10, she ended the tournament with a net score of 71.
In third place was Rose Rohlinger who shot 45 on the front nine and 48 on the back for a gross total of 93. With a handicap of 21, her net score was 72.
