YUMAN and Premier Builders will fill the remaining two slots in the final four of the Legends Sports Association Invitational Basketball League, season two, after eliminating their respective opponents at the TSL Sports Complex on Sunday.

Yuman outlasted Tan Holdings, 97-90.

Yuman’s variety of offensive options was their biggest asset as they were able to create shot opportunities from all around. Most of their attacks came from within the perimeter as Raymond Atencio dominated the boards with  offensive rebounds and second-chance buckets while Maverick Itibus, Justine Enano and Sean Licayan kept the momentum burning with their contributions.

Tan Holdings struggled to produce buckets from inside the paint, but thrived from behind the three-point line with a total of five triples to trail by 12 points, 38-50, by halftime.

In the second half, Tan Holdings focused more on defensive coverages led by Christian Bravo with four crucial blocks. With each defensive stop, they looked for a quick comeback, thanks to a barrage of three-pointers by Dindo Pablo.

Although Tan Holdings managed to cut the deficit back, Yuman fought back and had an answer for nearly every shot that Tan Holdings made. Licayan continued to be the biggest threat from beyond the arc, sinking three shots while Car Aldan and Enano slashed their way to secure the win for Yuman, 97-90.

Premier Builders was the other team to make it to the final four after trouncing Longshot, 97-72.
